About our data
Many of our datasets are available as either once-off or subscription-based data requests, or via subscription services through our Shared Location Information Platform (SLIP). We have a series of standard licences covering the supply of Landgate data for use within a customer’s business and for those wishing to operate as a commercial partner. Descriptions and samples of our licences are available.

Administrative boundary dataThe Administrative Areas dataset is a digital representation of areas within the State that are administered or managed under relevant legislation by a delegated authority.

Aerial imagery dataAccess the latest high-resolution imagery for WA. Our imagery services offer a choice of resolutions of Perth Metro and rural areas and include historical imagery.

BasemapOur basemap data combines multiple Landgate datasets including simplified cadastre, topographic and road centreline information to deliver a basemap service for Western Australia.

Cadastral dataContains land parcel boundaries for all freehold and Crown land within Western Australia including lodged cadastral, administrative, control marks and easements.

Crown reserve dataReserve data provides detailed information relating to Crown reserves in Western Australia. Crown reserves area managed by the designated management authority/agency on behalf of the State.

Elevation dataDerived from Landgate’s aerial imagery ortho-rectification process, DEM data are available for over 80% of Western Australia at grid intervals of between 1m & 20m, depending on the source resolution.

Geographic names dataGeographic names data is extracted from the official nomenclature database (Geonoma) for the State of WA and is maintained by Landgate.

Integrated Cad/Ten/PSA dataProvides ownership information on freehold and Crown land in Western Australia, integrated with full property street addressing and cadastral data.

LiDAR dataCatalogue of available LiDAR (elevation data) acquisitions that have been captured at various resolutions and locations across WA since 2017.

NDVI satellite imageryMeaning Normalised Difference Vegetation Index this a satellite-derived index shows the health of the WA’s green areas of land.

Points of interest dataOur points of interest data contains information relating to specific locations of public interest and includes natural and manmade features.

Property street address dataLandgate maintains property street addresses with input from local government authorities responsible for allocating street addresses. Information is captured for both urban and rural properties.

Residential property attribute dataProviding data on the most current building attributes available for residential properties in Western Australia. This information is captured as part of the valuation process.

Road centreline dataDerived from Landgate’s topographic dataset this data covers the whole State. All new roads are named and captured from a survey plan at the time of lodgement and stored in the road centreline dataset.

Sales evidence dataThis data contains information about the sale of freehold and leasehold properties within Western Australia.

Tenure dataProvides ownership information on freehold and Crown land in Western Australia. Tenure data is gathered from registered transfer of land documents as part of the registration process.

Topographic dataMedium and large-scale topographic datasets. Medium-scale whole of state coverage, large-scale coverage in Perth metropolitan area and major regional centres with specific project areas.
