Medium-scale topographic database (GIS dataset)
The medium-scale topographic database (TGDB) provides a whole-of-state view of natural and man-made features. Features are arranged in themes of relief, transport, hydrography and cultural. It is a 2D dataset with height attribution on contour and spot height elevation features. The important characteristics of the database include persistent identifiers (a unique number that is preserved during the feature's edit life), feature level metadata and the ability to provide incremental updates.

Large-scale topographic database (GIS)
The large-scale topographic dataset is a 3D dataset that provides a detailed view of the urban areas of the State (predominately the Perth metropolitan area and regional centres). The dataset includes both natural and man-made features. The features are arranged in themes of relief, transport, hydrography and cultural.
