Requesting new names

Landgate accepts applications for new names relating to roads, suburbs, administrative boundaries and topographic features. Such applications should be channelled through the relevant local government for their approval in the first instance.

Landgate has an online form to enable preliminary screening of proposed road names and submission of new road name requests. Please complete the form and submit the required supporting documentation online. This handy Checklist should also be completed and submitted with your application.

To ensure your application can be processed as quickly as possible please review our help guide. Incomplete applications will not be progressed until all the required information has been submitted.
