APA Group (APA) is a major ASX-listed gas transportation business with interests in energy infrastructure across mainland Australia, including over 14,000 kilometers of natural gas pipelines, gas storage facilities and a wind farm.  APA is Australia's largest transporter of gas, delivering approximately half of Australia's annual gas use through its infrastructure. 

APA’s Energy Infrastructure business has an extensive gas transmission portfolio comprising of a mix of mature, established pipeline operations and more recently completed pipelines that give access to new opportunities throughout Australia. With a presence in each mainland state and territory, the pipelines connect major gasfields in Australia with major markets giving APA a mix of new and existing market opportunities throughout Australia. APA’s pipelines have access to higher growth sectors of the Australian natural gas market, namely power generation, industrial and commercial customers.

APA's Energy Infrastructure assets include:

  • Gas transmission pipelines: 14 high pressure gas transmission pipelines totaling over 14,000 kilometers
  • Gas storage: Mondarra Gas Storage Facility in Western Australia and the Dandenong LNG Storage Facility in Victoria
  • Power generation: 80MW Emu Downs wind farm in Western Australia and Diamantina gas-fired power station in Queensland
