Consultation Paper – Electronic Creation and Execution of Documents

Following feedback received on Landgate’s Issues paper released in June 2021, Landgate has now released a Consultation Paper on the Electronic Creation and Execution of Documents.

The Consultation Paper discusses proposed legislative reforms to enable the creation and execution of documents in electronic form, particularly those that relate to interests in land.

The proposed changes outlined in the Consultation Paper cover the portfolios of both the Minister for Lands and the Attorney General, both of whom have approved the release of this Paper.
