Medium-scale topographic database (GIS dataset)
The medium-scale topographic dataset is derived from Landgate's Topographic Database (TGDB) and provides a whole-of-state view of natural and man-made features that are arranged in themes of relief, transport, hydrography and cultural. It is a 2D dataset with height attribution on contour and spot height elevation features. The important characteristics of the database include persistent identifiers (a unique number that is preserved during the feature's edit life), feature level metadata and the ability to provide incremental updates.

Large-scale topographic database (GIS dataset)
The large-scale topographic dataset is derived from Landgate's Topographic Database (TGDB) and provides a detailed view of the urban areas of the State (predominately the Perth metropolitan area and regional centres). The dataset includes both natural and man-made features that are arranged in themes of relief, transport, hydrography and cultural. The Large-scale topographic dataset contains height values that may be used to generate a 3D extrusion model.
Please note: Landgate's large-scale topographic capture programme paused in November 2016 meaning that this dataset has not had any updates applied since. Please consider this carefully when assessing the data for your requirements.
